Afshid Roozrokh, C.P.N.P.

Afshid Roozrokh received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University of Los Angeles. She received a Master in Science Degree in Nursing from UCLA with a Specialty in Pediatrics, graduating with honors. For the past 10 years, Afshid has been working at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) as a Hematology/Oncology pediatric nurse.

Afshid is a member of American Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Association (APHON) and currently teaches chemotherapy/biotherapy, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and CPR classes at Children's Hospital. Being on the cutting edge of new technology and research, Afshid is heavily involved in multiple research projects and has been author/co-author of numerous poster presentations at APHON national conferences.

Afshid performs a wide variety of nursing services for ages ranging from newborns to adolescents including assessing and diagnosing; conducting physical examinations; monitoring patient status; and consulting and collaborating with specialists.

Afshid was born and raised in Iran. She speaks Farsi and enjoys hiking, biking, and yoga.
